Just hit 90 days straight in a single Airbnb and my brain broke a little
I've been moving every 2-3 weeks for years, but a cheap monthly rate in Medellin made me stay put. I didn't even notice until my calendar alert popped up. Suddenly I have a 'usual' coffee shop and the barista knows my order. It's weirdly comfortable but I'm worried I'm losing my edge. Has anyone else gotten stuck in a good spot and felt their travel habits slip?

Honestly the barista knowing your order after 90 days is what got me. Tbh it takes me like a year to get to that point, you're speedrunning being a local. Ruby_wright is right though, that's just being a normal person. Ngl I'd be more worried about the cheap monthly rate, those are impossible to find now.

Losing your edge sounds like a made up problem for people who think moving is a personality. Having a barista know your coffee is just a sign you're a regular human now, not a tourist. Getting comfortable in a place means you're actually living there instead of just passing through. That's a good thing, not something to worry about.
