My coworking desk came with a pet turtle and a life plan

I rented a spot in a coworking space in Lisbon last Tuesday and the guy next to me had a small turtle in a plastic tub on his desk. He spent 40 minutes explaining how the turtle's slow pace reminded him to not rush his freelance work. Then he offered me a printed schedule of his daily affirmations, which he updates every 3 days. I moved seats after lunch but honestly, I kind of miss the weird energy. Has anyone else ended up with a random desk buddy who changes how you work?
