Oh come on, really? I had the exact opposite experience in Porto - felt like it was way too touristy and everything good was packed with lines. Guess I'm stuck agreeing with @ruby659 for once, since getting sidetracked in all those crowded spots just made me miss the hidden gems I never found. Maybe it works if you're into the whole touristy pastry scene, but I'd rather skip the chaos and find somewhere quieter.
