The $600 unlimited data plan that quietly saved my work life

I used to juggle three different eSIMs across Europe, always hunting for cheap cafe wifi in Porto or wherever I landed. Last fall I finally paid $600 for a yearly global plan, and it's been worth every penny. No more lost hours re-uploading client files or scrambling for a signal before a call in a random train station. Has anyone else just given up on the penny-pinching approach to connectivity?

Scrambling for a signal" sounds like a minor hassle, not a crisis.

Scrambling for a signal" being a minor hassle? Wait, @ray_sullivan, you're telling me you've never been stuck in the middle of nowhere with one bar of service and a dying battery while trying to call a tow truck? That's the definition of a crisis when your car breaks down at night on a back road. I spent two hours last month parked on a hill just to get enough bars to text my husband where I was. Minor hassle, my foot.
