Vent: A client in Lisbon told me my work hours were a red flag
I was working with a client for about 6 months, keeping my usual schedule of sending emails and updates at all hours. He finally told me flat out that my 2 AM Lisbon time replies made him think I was either disorganized or overworked, and it hurt my professional image. I had no idea my 'always on' hustle was being seen that way. I changed my setup to use a simple email scheduler for everything, so now all my messages go out between 9 AM and 5 PM in my client's time zone. It took a week to get used to, but the feedback on my communication has been way better. Has anyone else had a client call them out on something you thought was a strength?

My buddy had a client tell him his super detailed reports made him look insecure. Totally threw him off.

Used to think details showed care, but that comment would make me rethink everything.

That's just a client who can't handle real detail.
