Found a weird calm spot in the courthouse lobby and it helped
During my custody hearing last Tuesday in the county courthouse on 4th street, I noticed the family law floor had a quiet corner with old magazines and one bench that nobody sat near. I went there between sessions just to breathe and it actually worked, way better than pacing outside with everyone else. Has anyone else found a random spot like that during their court days that kept them grounded?

Why do we always crowd the hallway like it is the only air in the building? That bench spot sounds like a tiny win in a rough day. Sometimes a quiet corner with old magazines beats all the pacing in the world.
