PSA: wasted $400 on a custody scheduling app that did nothing
I paid $400 for a co-parenting scheduling app that promised to track everything and sync with my ex's calendar. Turns out she just ignored all the notifications, so it was useless. Anyone else get burned by one of these apps?

Yeah same here. Had to go back to a shared Google Calendar and just screenshot everything.

Haha yeah, that "can't force someone to participate" part is spot on. It's wild how much tech we throw at problems that are really just about people not doing their part. I see it everywhere now, like smart home stuff that's supposed to save energy but only works if everyone in the house actually turns off the lights. It's like we forgot that gadgets can't replace basic human responsibility. So frustrating paying for a solution that only half works because the other person won't even open the app.

Ugh I totally feel your pain on this one. I remember reading an article that said most of these apps rely on both parents actually cooperating, which kind of defeats the whole point. If one person just ignores it, you're basically paying for a fancy paperweight. I've heard people say they ended up using a simple shared calendar and taking screenshots for proof, just like the other commenter mentioned. It's frustrating that companies sell these as the solution when they can't force someone to participate.
