Shoutout to the simple act of deleting the old shared photo album
About 4 months after the papers were signed, I finally removed our old vacation pictures from the cloud, and the immediate drop in those random, painful memory notifications was like a weight lifted.

Oh man, I feel that. I waited a whole year before I could bring myself to do it. My phone kept showing me "this day last year" pictures like a really mean friend. Felt so good to finally hit delete.

It's a tough but necessary step. @kelly.patricia waiting a year makes total sense, that algorithm can be brutal. Getting rid of those digital reminders finally lets you breathe.

Funny how you used to think keeping all those old photos was just part of the deal, like a digital scrapbook you had to keep.
