The moment I knew it was over was in the grocery store parking lot.
We were in Tampa, middle of July. She said she forgot the shopping list at home. I said it was no big deal, we could just guess. She snapped and told me I never paid attention to anything. I stood there next to the hot car and realized I hadn't felt close to her in over a year. Has anyone else had a small, dumb moment make everything click into place?

Read something recently about how breakups often start way before the actual fight, and this is such a perfect example lol. That parking lot heat probably just made the truth impossible to ignore. Sometimes a stupid little argument is really just the last straw on something that was already broken.
