Keep an eye on the battery compatibility game. Cordless tools are great until the manufacturer decides to change the whole battery platform. Then you're stuck with a wall of expensive paperweights. My 18v stuff from 2017 is already orphaned. Nobody makes batteries for it anymore. That old corded drill from 95 still runs fine on any extension cord.

Wait till you see the 3D printed adapter that turns those orphan batteries into a paperweight with extra steps. Ngl, my old corded drill might outlive my cordless collection at this rate.
