Spent 4 hours trying to level a concrete floor for my shed base

I was setting up a 10x12 shed in my backyard near Austin, thought I could just pour some self-leveling compound and be done in an hour. Turns out the floor had a 2 inch slope from one corner to the other, way too much for that stuff to handle. Had to break out the grinder and diamond cup wheel, then do multiple thin pours over two days. Anyone else run into a floor that's way more unlevel than you expected?

That 2 inch slope sounds like a NIGHTMARE, man. I once spent a whole Saturday trying to level a garage corner that barely had a half-inch dip, and I still ended up with a patch that looked like a pancake someone dropped. Felt like the concrete was mocking me the whole time.

Laughing out loud because I totally get it. I tried to level a spot in my driveway last spring and ended up with this weird hump that stuck up like a speed bump. Every time I pull my car over it I feel like the concrete is personally trying to embarrass me. And the worst part is I measured everything twice and still ended up with a patch that's way off. It's like concrete has a mind of its own and just decides to do whatever it wants.

My buddy Mike tried the same thing and his shed base ended up looking like a roller coaster track.
