My father in law laughed at my paint tray liners
I used to just rinse out my roller trays after every paint job. Took forever and I'd still end up with dried paint flecks in the next project. My father in law watched me scrubbing one day and said "why don't you just buy the disposable tray liners, they're like 50 cents each." I felt dumb but I switched over and honestly it saves me at least 20 minutes per room. Has anyone else been stubborn about a simple tool that made their life way easier?

Oh man I was the same way with paint brushes, I used to just wash them out after every use and they'd get all stiff anyway. Switched to those cheap foam brushes for small stuff and toss them after each project, saves me so much hassle.

Feel that, foam brushes are game changers for small projects. I still keep a few good bristle brushes for detail work but the foam ones just make cleanup nonexistent. Saves my sanity more than anything.

Never tried tossing used brushes in the freezer to keep them fresh between coats.
