PSA: My local hardware store rearranged the lumber section and it's a mess now.

I went to get some wood for a shelf and got totally lost... the new setup is slowing down my projects. How are you handling store changes?

Yeah when amyh12 said "they know the new layout" it made me realize how much we all just depend on whoever's around when things get shuffled. Feels like half of life now is just adapting to other people's reorganizing.

Tell me about it, they did the same thing at my place last month. You just get used to where everything is and then they flip the whole store around. It turns a quick trip into a whole frustrating treasure hunt, doesn't it? I'm trying to adopt that strategy of asking for help right away like amyh12 said. Wandering the aisles alone when you're pressed for time is the absolute worst.

Ugh that's the worst! I always head straight for the cutting counter now and ask an employee to walk me to what I need. They know the new layout and it saves so much time hunting.

Heading straight there is clever, but I've waited forever when they're short-staffed. Kinda defeats the purpose...
