That pipe leak under my sink took 3 days to fix
Thought it was just a loose connection under the kitchen sink. Tightened it up. Still leaking. Tried replacing the washer. Nope. After 2 days I finally pulled the whole trap apart. Found a tiny crack along the bottom of the PVC where I couldn't see it. Cost me $4 for a new piece but lost a whole weekend. Anyone else miss obvious stuff like this and waste way too much time?

Found a tiny crack along the bottom of the PVC" - that's brutal. I read somewhere that plumbing stuff always hides the real problem in the last place you look. Feel like half my DIY projects end the same way, chasing some dumb mistake for hours.
