Curfew hits the teens at our complex but not the adults who party louder
Our apartment manager in Phoenix sent out a notice saying noise complaints after 10pm get warnings for anyone under 18. Last Friday, the 16 year olds next door got a written warning for playing music at 10:15. Meanwhile the unit above me had 12 people out on the balcony yelling until 2am and nobody said a word. I called the office Monday and they said curfews only apply to minors, but the noise rule is separate and they didn't enforce it because no one filed against the adults. Has anyone else seen property managers pick and choose which rules to actually follow?

That "no one filed against the adults" line really shows how they just follow whoever complains.
