Saw a guy parked in the handicap spot at the gym, no placard, just hopped out and jogged in
I was at Planet Fitness in Austin last Wednesday and watched a dude in a lifted truck pull into the only handicap spot. No plates, no tag, he just stretched his legs for 2 seconds and ran inside. When I asked an employee, they said they can't do anything because it's not their lot, but I've seen them ticket people for leaving a water bottle on the bench.

Austin cops literally sit in that lot writing tickets for expired inspection stickers, not this.

Wait, has anyone actually seen the cops do anything about this though? @mark_green I hear you on the sticker thing, but I've watched them camp out at that same lot and do nothing when someone pulls that move. I used to be the guy who'd say "just let it go, not your problem" but then I saw a guy in a wheelchair have to park way out because some kid in a lifted F-150 took the spot. Changed my whole view on it. If the gym won't do anything and the cops are too busy with sticker checks, maybe we gotta start dming the business owner directly on Instagram or something.

Left a note on their windshield once with a pic of their plate. Never saw them park there again.
