A senior engineer told me my dimensions were "starting from the wrong spot" and it wrecked my process
I was doing a set of plans for a commercial remodel in Phoenix last month and kept getting held up on revisions. A guy with 30 years in the field looked at my layers and pointed out I was referencing the wrong grid line for all my structural callouts. He showed me how to anchor everything to the column centerlines instead of the walls. Has anyone else gotten a piece of feedback that forced you to rework your entire template?

Did the column centerlines shift your reference points that much on the next project?

Rebuilding the whole dimension style is rough. Genuinely feel your pain on that one.

Yeah that's a classic one. Once you start anchoring to the columns everything else kind of falls into place. Your mileage may vary but I had to rebuild my whole dimension style after a similar talk, and it saved me hours on the next job.
