Appreciation post: The old hand drafting method I swore was better than CAD
When my boss made us switch to CAD back in 2012 at the firm in Tulsa, I was dead set against it. Thought it would kill the feel of the work. Took me about 4 months on a big commercial project to realize I could spot clearance issues way faster in the digital model than on paper. Has anyone else had a tool they hated at first but now use every day?

Actually Tulsa had some major flooding issues back in 2012, not sure thats the right year for your firm switch. Pretty sure the big flood was 2011.

We just dug out receipts from the old server and matching years was way easier than guessing.
