I finally got to work on the new hospital wing project downtown... after six months of just doing permit revisions.

Ever think that kind of work was just boring paperwork? Seeing a real building go up because of those revisions totally changed my mind. It's the most important part, honestly.

Tell me about it. I once spent three whole weeks just moving a single dotted line on a site plan two inches to the left. Felt like the most pointless job in the world until the foreman told me that line was the difference between the ambulance bay fitting or not. Now I see that dotted line every time I drive by.
