Rant: Hit my 500th drafting revision this morning and lost my mind for a second

I was just logging my daily work in our system here in Denver, and I saw I crossed 500 revisions since I started tracking in 2021. That number hit me HARD because each one was me fixing mistakes, client changes, or structural issues. I honestly never expected to see that number pile up so fast in just over 3 years. It made me wonder if I am making too many tweaks or if this is normal for other drafters. Has anyone else checked their revision count and gotten surprised by how high it went?

Huh, I used to think tracking was overkill but this actually convinced me otherwise.

What was the main thing that changed your mind - was it seeing how many revisions piled up, or realizing something specific about the workflow itself? The numbers people share in these threads are always eye-opening, but I'm curious if there was a particular moment when it clicked for you. I've been on the fence about tracking my own process and wondering if it'd actually show me what I'm missing rather than just confirming what I already know.

Sheesh, 500 revisions in three years is wild. But hey, at least you're actually tracking it.
