Switched from a 0.5mm lead holder to a 0.3mm for all my MEP details six months ago. The clarity jump is insane.

Clarity is overrated. All that extra sharpness just makes every tiny wobble in your line work super obvious. Plus, you're gonna break that 0.3 lead like every five minutes.

Honestly, my art teacher swears by thicker leads for sketching.
