The day my tolerances were off by 0.05 and it cost me 8 hours

Last Thursday I was laying out a bracket for a retrofit job near Columbus and didn't double check my layer scale before plotting. Everything looked fine on screen, but the print shop sent back the PDFs and the holes were shifted just enough that nothing lined up with the existing frame. I spent the whole afternoon redoing the model and now I triple check my viewport scale before I send anything out. Has anyone else had a similar slip that turned a quick job into a full day?

Ugh, tell me about it! I did the same thing with a dimension style once, mixed up mm and inches, and the whole flange came back looking like a kids toy. Took me an entire Saturday to redo it and I still get twitchy thinking about it. Now I print a test sheet on plain paper and hold it up against the tape measure like a lunatic. It's the dumb little stuff that always bites you in the ass.

The test print trick saved my ass too, but I still triple check every damn dimension now.
