Total rookie move with my plotter settings ruined a big print job.

What's your go-to method for checking plotter configs? I need to avoid this mess next time.

Can't believe you skipped the test print on a big job!

Last Tuesday, my office printer jammed halfway through a 50-page report because I rushed it. I totally get skipping the test print when you're under pressure. @xena582 has the right idea with those draft prints on cheap paper. It seems like extra work, but it catches those font size errors or margin issues before they waste your good paper. My boss was not happy about the delay, and I had to reprint the whole thing. Now I always do a quick test, even if I'm in a hurry.

Do you run a small test print first? I always make a quick draft on cheap paper to catch any setting errors before the big job. Also, keep a saved config file for each project so you can reload it exactly. It saves time and material in the long run.

My printer once ate a manual because I used the wrong paper type (now I double-check everything).
