Why does nobody talk about the waiting game in drafting approvals?
I had a project where the shop drawings needed sign-off from five different people. Each one took days to respond, and it added up to a month of delays. I felt stuck just watching my inbox. How do you all cope with this? Is there a better way to track approvals?

Actually think that waiting period is kind of useful. Gives everyone a real chance to look things over without being rushed. Rushing leads to way more mistakes down the line.

Totally! I couldn't agree more. Waiting periods have saved me from so many bad choices. Like last year, I almost signed a lease without reading the fine print, but that waiting day made me spot the crazy rules. Rushing just leads to regret every single time. Giving yourself time to look things over is a lifesaver.

You're SO right about rushing leading to regret. Even a short pause lets you see things you would have missed. That extra time really is a game changer.

Reminds me of when my buddy bought a truck on a whim. Drove it home all excited, then the next day noticed the frame was rusted through near the wheel well. Cost him four grand to fix what a 24-hour cool down would have caught. Rushing just burns you.
