Finally cleared that 20-year silt logjam on the old Miller Creek channel

Six months of weekend work with a 10-inch cutterhead, and you can actually see the original riverbed again. Anyone else have a stubborn spot that just felt amazing to finally break through?

Hold on, you did that with just a 10-inch cutterhead? That's wild. I would have guessed you'd need something twice that size for a jam that old. The patience to chip away at it every weekend for half a year is honestly the most impressive part. Must have felt like a real victory when it finally let go.

Yeah, that "patience to chip away" part is what got me too, @emma455. I've been there with old house projects that just drag on forever. The day it finally gives way is the best feeling.
