Had a cutterhead jam that took us 12 hours to clear last Tuesday
We were working a sandbar in the Ohio River, about 20 yards from the bank. The pump just stopped dead. Turned out we'd sucked up a massive tangle of old logging chain and some kind of rubber mat. The whole crew spent from 7 AM until past sundown pulling it apart piece by piece, couldn't even get a torch in there. What's the weirdest thing you've ever pulled up that completely shut you down?

Heard about a crew pulling a whole motorcycle out of a dredge pump once, lol.
