Just blew $500 on a 'universal' cutterhead wear sensor that never worked right. Stuck it on the old dredge in Mobile and it gave false readings for a month straight.

Right? The "why didn't you just return it" thought hits me every time... I had a blender that leaked from day one, @amyh12, and I just kept using it for months while complaining. The box was huge and I lost the receipt... total hassle.

That "why didn't you just return it" thought used to seem so obvious to me. I held onto a busted power drill for a year because the store was across town. Now I just eat the drive time, because staring at a broken thing you paid for is way worse.
