Never thought I'd see 3,000 cubic yards on a single dredge job, but that old timer's trick of slowing the swing speed changed my mind
Hit 3,000 cubic yards on the St. Louis River project and it surprised me because I always thought faster swings meant more output, but after I slowed down to let the pump really dig in, the numbers jumped up over two days.

Hold up, 3,000 cubic yards? That's insane. Never would have guessed slowing down would actually do that.

Same with how driving slower on the highway saves more gas than you'd think. It's like our brains are wired to think faster = more efficient, but it's the opposite so often.

Really makes you wonder what other little things we do every day that waste more than we realize... like what about accelerating too fast from a stop? Does that burn way more gas than people think?
