Paid for a full day of training on that new GPS dredge control system
It was a complete waste of $800. The guy running it barely knew the software himself and we spent most of the time watching him click around menus. Anyone have a better way to learn this stuff, maybe a good video series?

Man, I have to disagree on the YouTube thing for this. With a GPS dredge system, the manuals and official training docs are KEY because they cover the safety stuff and weird job site errors you just won't find in a casual video. I wasted a week once trying to fix a pitch error from bad online advice.

My buddy had the same thing happen with a crane cert class. He ended up finding way better tutorials just searching the software name on YouTube.

Yeah @eric_adams11, that's a solid point. I used to always go for the official classes, but finding stuff on YouTube really changed how I learn things now.
