That fancy dredge cutterhead I bought online was a total flop

Spent $1,200 on a supposedly hardened steel cutterhead from some website, and it wore down after just 40 hours in sandy conditions. The teeth chipped like crazy, way worse than my old standard one. Anyone else get burned by aftermarket parts that look good but don't hold up?

Forty hours is embarrassingly bad even for junk parts.

@maxl93 nailed it, this ain't just bad luck - everything's made cheaper now.

Wait, the teeth chipped after only 40 hours? That's crazy man, I've got cheap stuff that lasted longer than that in heavy gravel. Did the seller even offer you a warranty or anything?
