Bought a $150 drywall lift from Harbor Freight and honestly it changed my mind about cheap tools
I always swore by my expensive Baker lift for hanging ceiling sheets. But last month my back gave out and I needed something quick for a small job in Austin. Picked up that cheap lift and figured I'd return it after. Man it actually worked fine for the whole 12 sheet ceiling. Only took me 45 minutes longer than my usual setup. Has anyone else had good luck with a budget lift for smaller jobs?

My buddy Dave grabbed one for his garage drywall project and figured he'd just rent something better if it sucked. Ended up keeping it and now it's his go-to for any job under 20 sheets.

Man I feel that so much. @leor86 I grabbed a similar one for my basement ceiling and figured I'd be returning it the same week. Now it's got that little indentation on the base from sitting in my truck bed for like 8 months straight. Just used it last weekend on a buddies shed and it still fires up fine.

Put a few coats of primer on before paint and it came out looking fine.
