Had to pick between a 4 inch knife and a 6 inch knife for doing inside corners on a house in Phoenix last summer

Not gonna lie, the heat thing is real but nobody's talking about the blade flex factor on those inside corners. With a 6 inch blade you're getting way more leverage and that means more chatter when you're trying to hit a tight 90 degree corner. I've had a 6 inch skip out on me and mess up the last 2 inches of a cut because the blade was too long to stay stable. The 4 inch might heat up faster but it stays planted way better when you're feathering that trigger. Plus in Phoenix that drywall mud is gonna be crusty before you even finish the corner so you want the cleaner cut the first time.

Man oh man, have you thought about the HEAT factor here? That 4 inch blade is gonna heat up WAY faster if you're running it hard, and in a Phoenix summer that thin metal can actually start warping on you mid-cut. Plus the smaller blade means you're taking more passes which means more time in that 120 degree attic. I'd take the 6 inch just for the extra mass to soak up the heat and get done quicker.

Man, I saw a guy on YouTube test that exact thing, pretty eye opening.
