My cousin's basement drywall job has me rethinking my own finish techniques.
He invited me over to check out the drywall he installed himself. Up close, the tape lines are clear and the mud isn't smooth. How do you gently correct family when their work doesn't meet pro standards?

Your uncle's cooking just made me think of a truly awful painting I made in high school. I thought it was amazing, which is maybe the real crime here.

Man, that's so real. I had a phase where my homemade bread was just terrible, but I served it with total pride. Looking back, the confidence was the worst part.
