Yeah, that "bruising my skin" feeling is the worst. I've totally had that happen and it makes you second guess everything.

Honestly that sounds like a one off comment getting way too much weight. Clients say stuff all the time and their idea of "aggressive" can be super off base. Unless the skin was actually damaged, maybe they just aren't used to proper pore clearing. A bit of tenderness is pretty normal for a real extraction.

Honestly, some clients just have skin that can't handle proper extractions. Tbh a little redness is normal if you're actually clearing out the clogged pores. I've had people say that too but their skin looked way better a day later. You can't do a deep clean with zero pressure.
