A client with rosacea told me my pressure was too much during a facial

She said, 'It feels like you're sanding my face,' halfway through a calming treatment. I was using my normal pressure from working on thicker skin types. I switched to just the weight of my fingers for the rest of the session and her redness went down fast. Has anyone else had to totally change their touch for sensitive skin clients?

Why change your whole technique for one person though? Maybe they're just extra whiny and your normal pressure is fine for most people.

So you'd keep hurting someone just to prove a point?

quote "maybe they're just extra whiny" and you think that's a valid take? @lucasw84 sorry but if someone says it feels like sandpaper you don't just shrug it off.

Extra whiny"? @quinncoleman, she said it felt like sanding her face, that's a pretty clear sign to change your touch.
