Found a way to calm down a really red post-wax reaction fast
A client last week had a bad reaction on her chin, it was super red and hot. I remembered reading about a chilled chamomile tea bag compress and tried it. I steeped one bag, let it cool in the fridge for ten minutes, then held it on the spot. The redness went down in about five minutes and she felt way better. Has anyone else found a good trick for sudden irritation like that?

Honestly the part that got me is putting a used tea bag in the fridge. Like, you just have a soggy bag of old herbs chilling next to your milk? Tbh that feels like a science experiment waiting to happen. I'm all for a cold compress but maybe use a clean cloth or something.

Aloe vera straight from the plant works wonders for that too, just keep a piece in the fridge.

Man, it's wild how often the answer is just "chill it out." I burned my hand on a pan last month and just held a bag of frozen peas on it. Same idea with a sunburn, you jump in a cool pool. It's like our first instinct for any kind of heat or swelling is to find something cold and press it there. The chamomile tea bag is just a fancy, smell-good version of that basic fix.
