Had a client in Seattle teach me something about lymphatic drainage I never learned in school

She came in for a routine facial and mentioned she does self-massage for her TMJ, and when I watched her technique I realized I've been way too heavy handed on the neck. Anyone else ever have a client casually drop knowledge that totally shifted how you work?

Clients love to drop little bombs of wisdom when you least expect it. Next thing you know, they'll be teaching you how to do your own taxes between the toner and the moisturizer. My assistant is still trying to recover from the time a client showed her a better way to hold a spatula.
