Question about the long wait for certain treatment results

I mean, I've been in situations where a client expects instant glow after a facial, but some treatments like peels or retinoids take weeks to show real change. One side says we should manage expectations upfront and stress patience for better skin health. But the other side argues clients might not come back if they don't see quick fixes, so maybe we push faster options. Idk, maybe it's just me, but I've lost a few regulars over this wait time issue. It feels like a constant tug between doing what's best for skin and keeping business steady. What's your take on handling the slow results dilemma?

Remember trying to grow tomatoes from seed one summer, got so impatient waiting for fruit I almost ripped the plants out. Then one week they just exploded with more tomatoes than I could handle. Sometimes the best results just won't be rushed, which is the exact headache you're describing.

Ugh, why do we always know patience is key but still fight it so hard?

My buddy Rick rebuilt an old car engine last year. He'd check it every single day, getting mad when it wouldn't turn over, fiddling with parts that just needed to settle. Then he got busy with work and left it alone for like two weeks. Came back, turned the key, and it started right up, just needed that sitting time he wasn't giving it.

My dad's sourdough starter took three weeks to bubble once. He almost threw it out twice, but now it makes the best bread. Some things just need you to look away for a minute.
