Watched my buddy get into a huge fight with his uncle at a barbecue over that footage. He kept pointing at the flag saying "look, it's waving!" and his uncle just sighed and pulled up the NASA explainer page. They didn't speak for like an hour, just stood there grilling burgers in total silence.

My cousin tried to show me that same clip last Thanksgiving. Had to explain the flagpole thing three times. Still not sure he gets it.

Watched my friend's dad get so worked up he started drawing diagrams on a napkin at a diner.
