Question about a local news story that blew up over a 'dangerous' playground slide
My town's news channel ran a story last Friday about a new playground slide being 'too fast' and 'unsafe for kids'. They interviewed one parent who said her kid got a small scrape. The city spent $2,000 on a safety review before anyone even got to use it. It feels like they made a big deal out of nothing for views. Has anyone else seen their local news create drama over something this small?

Totally agree with sean about the clicks. They need that FEAR to get people to watch. Two grand for a slide review is just nuts.
