Switched from a standard rasp to a diamond-coated one for a tough quarter crack on a draft horse in Lancaster.

The diamond rasp cut through the dense hoof wall in half the time and left a much smoother finish, so what's your go-to tool for dealing with really hard hoof material?

Ever try a carbide rasp?

Sounds like you're giving that horse a spa day, lmao.

Yeah, a good massage gun on the legs really helped my guy loosen up after a hard ride.

Haha, a spa day... that reminds me of the time I tried a hot towel wrap on my mare's back. It was a total mess, she just thought it was a weird new blanket to rub off on the fence. Makes me wonder about @xenas16's carbide rasp, that seems way more practical for actual work.
