Shein vs thrift store jeans - I was totally wrong about quality
I used to swear Shein jeans were fine for $12 but after putting my thrifted Levi's through 8 washes without any fading compared to the Shein pair falling apart at the seams after 3, I had to admit the $8 thrift find was way better. Has anyone else noticed the fabric feels totally different after a few wears?

Totally agree on the fabric thing. I bought a pair of Shein jeans last year and after two washes the color was already fading and the seams started to pucker. Meanwhile I grabbed a pair of Wranglers from Goodwill for like $6 and they've been through the wash a dozen times and still look solid. The denim on the thrift pair is way thicker and the stitching is just tighter.

Damn @murray.robert you might be onto something. Always figured new was better but you just made me rethink that whole thrift store thing.

After two washes the color was already fading"... I mean, are we really expecting fast fashion pieces to last forever? They're basically disposable at those prices. Seems like a lot of trouble to go through just to save a few bucks on jeans.
