I used to think a cold burger was just bad luck, but after my last trip to the drive-thru, I'm convinced they're doing it on purpose.

I waited 15 minutes in line at the Burger Barn on Elm Street yesterday, only to get a completely cold, congealed cheeseburger that had clearly been sitting under a heat lamp since lunchtime, so what's the weirdest or most obviously neglected food you've been handed recently?

Ngl that's insane - from lunchtime until now is like 6 or 7 hours of straight work without a break. That's not just bad company culture, that's borderline cruel in my book. Tbh I'd be walking out the door if management thought that was okay.

Hold on, what if they're stuck in back-to-back meetings? My last job had days where you literally couldn't get five minutes to breathe, let alone eat. The real crime is any workplace that creates that situation.
