The Burger King in Westgate Mall gave me a drink cup full of pickle juice

I went through the drive-thru last Friday and ordered a large Coke. When I took a sip, it was straight up PICKLE JUICE, like they filled the cup from the pickle bucket. I drove back around and the manager said 'oh, the soda line must be hooked up wrong' like it was no big deal. They gave me a new drink but no apology or anything. Who even checks that stuff before opening? Has anyone else gotten a mystery fluid instead of their soda?

Yikes, that's a whole new level of soda fail! My friend once got a cup of what tasted like dishwater instead of Sprite, which kinda lines up with what @wade_kelly77 said about lines getting crossed. It makes you wonder what's really in those machines sometimes.

That's pretty wild, but honestly, it sounds like a simple mistake. Those soda machines have a lot of lines for different syrups. A new employee might have hooked the pickle brine container to the wrong spot during a changeover. It's gross, but not some big conspiracy. The manager probably should have apologized more, but fixing the line is the main thing. At least they gave you a new drink right away.
