The burger king that forgot to put the meat on my whopper, twice in one visit.

I went to a Burger King off I-75 in Atlanta last month and ordered two Whoppers, and both times I got to the window they handed me a bun with just lettuce and tomato. The manager kept saying the patty was "coming up" but never actually put it on. Is this a training issue or does corporate just not care about their quality control anymore?

Just a fast food joint that messed up" describes half the places I go to these days, feels like nobody gives a damn anymore.

Man, that's rough. But honestly I think you're overthinking it a bit. Training issue? Corporate quality control? It's just a fast food joint that messed up your order twice. Mistakes happen. The manager probably just didn't care to fix it right then and there. Not everything is some big systemic failure, sometimes people just screw up and move on.

I used to be one of those "it's not that deep" people too until I got a taco from a place in Austin that was just a shell with a receipt inside. The cashier didn't even blink, just said "heres your refund" and walked off. That single moment flipped something in my head because it wasn't a one-off mistake, it was a sign that nobody at that store cared about the actual product. Sometimes it is a bigger thing when the same stupid error happens twice in one visit with no apology.
