My friend's kid tried my sauerkraut and said it tasted like 'sour candy'
We were at a BBQ in Austin last weekend and my buddy's 7 year old asked to try the kraut I brought. After one bite, he looked up and said 'it's like candy, but sour!' That totally made my day after the batch had been fermenting for about 5 weeks. What's the funniest thing someone's ever said about your ferments?

Got to say, pickles are supposed to be fizzy though.

That "sour candy" thing is so cute, my niece said my pickles tasted like fizzy cucumbers.

My pickles are so fizzy they practically burp at you. I'm basically running a science experiment in my fridge.
