3 years ago I swore by baby's breath filler, now I think it's a crutch for lazy arrangements

At my shop in Portland last month I refused to add baby's breath to a bridal bouquet and the bride almost walked out. Three years ago I had a full cooler of it and used it in 80% of my orders. Am I the only florist who thinks relying on cheap filler kills creativity in modern design?

Used to defend baby's breath all the time. Called it a classic. Now I see it's just the easy way out. Makes everything look the same.
