A bride told me my bouquets looked 'too perfect' last spring...
She said they felt stiff and lacked a garden's wild charm. Now I leave more stems at different lengths and add a few bent or imperfect blooms... does that make them feel more natural?

People get so weird about flowers.

That bride gave you great advice, even if it was hard to hear. Letting go of perfect symmetry is key. You might also try mixing in some filler greens or smaller buds that are still closed tight. It adds a sense that the flowers are still growing, not just placed. The goal is to make it look like someone gathered them from a yard, not a cooler. Your changes are definitely moving in the right direction.

Honestly used to be all about those tight, perfect bunches. Tbh the cooler comment hits hard because that's exactly what I was going for. It took seeing a few really loose, wild arrangements to get it. Now the messy ones with different greens and buds feel way more alive. Like you said, it's not about being perfect, it's about looking real. That shift in thinking changed everything for me.
