I finally gave up on those fancy floral foam alternatives after wasting $200

I bought a bunch of the new 'eco' foam blocks that are supposed to hold stems just as well. They fell apart in a big wedding arch order and I had to redo the whole thing overnight. Are the old school foams still the only reliable choice, or did I just get a bad batch?

Honestly, that reminds me of my cousin's outdoor ceremony last summer. The whole arch was covered in these heavy flowers and it just sagged in the middle halfway through the vows. Tbh the couple just laughed it off but the planner looked like she was gonna pass out. Ngl, it kinda stole the show for a minute there. Makes you wonder why they build those things so flimsy sometimes.

Oh man, I totally see it the opposite way. Honestly @nancy326, that kind of small mess-up is what makes a wedding feel real and memorable. If everything was perfect and stiff it would be like a boring movie. Tbh a saggy arch gives people a story to tell later, and the couple laughing proves they got what really mattered. I'd way rather have that than a flawless but forgettable day.
