I swore off using sunflowers in arrangements until a mix-up proved me wrong
A customer ordered a 'bright and cheerful' bouquet, but my delivery guy accidentally grabbed sunflowers instead of gerberas. The client called back raving about how perfect they were, and now I can't stop using them. What's a flower you changed your tune on after a funny mistake?

Notice that happens with more than flowers. Had the same stubborn dislike for lilies, thought they were just for funerals. A friend brought a huge bunch of stargazers to a party by mistake, and the smell in the room was amazing. Sometimes our tastes are just habits until an accident proves us wrong.

That bit about tastes being habits... it's so spot on. I used to avoid roses for the same reason, thought they were too cliché. Then someone gave me a garden rose and the scent just... yeah.

Seriously, it's like we're all just fancy little taste snobs until life smacks us with the good stuff. So you two were out here giving roses and lilies the side-eye for being too basic? That's hilarious. Guess we all need that one friend to accidentally show up with the right flowers to break our snobby habits. Next you'll tell me you hated chocolate cake because it was too popular. Get over yourselves, lmao.

Wait, so Sean's friend brought stargazers by total accident?
